Anna Reid has been at the Centre for Professional Development since 2001. Initially her responsibility was for teaching and learning development and, commencing in 2006, research development.
Anna teaches in the Master of Higher Education program being responsible for the research oriented units. As program director for research development she coordinates and delivers the Research Supervision program, the various workshop series and the SIG for Research Leaders and Mentors.
Her research explores issues of practice and policy in Higher Education contexts including: Internationalisation, Creativity and Ethics, Cross-Cultural Sensitivity and Sustainable Development; and the practical areas of mathematics, statistics, music, design, accounting and law. In each of these cognate areas her focus is on the experience of learning/teaching through the lense of professional formation. Other research areas include research supervision and HDR candidacy.
