Biography
Moya Adams was appointed as Lecturer, Learning and Teaching, in 1994, Senior Lecturer in 1999 and Honorary Associate in 2002. Prior to this appointment she held:
- academic appointments as Research Fellow in Education at Macquarie University, and Lecturer at UTS, Kuringai;
- appointments as Senior Research Officer, NSW Department of School Education and Senior Research Assistant, Macquarie University;
- appointment as secondary English teacher
During her academic career she has taught postgraduate classes in learning and teaching in higher education, research methods in education, and undergraduate classes in drama in education; and professional development programs for new academic staff, for cross-cultural teaching and postgraduate supervision. She has extensive research experience on large research projects, including assessment in the HSC, retention in secondary education, selective high schools and curriculum development in post-compulsory high school years.
